Fruity Oats

Oats are a great source of carbohydrates which help to stabilize blood sugar as well as being a source of magnesium and iron. Served along with fruits this recipe will help your baby to feel fuller for longer and provide many vitamins and minerals.


  • 1.5 cup of oats2015-03-04_0816
  • 2 apples
  • 2 pears
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional)


  1. Place oats in a pot with 1.5 cups of water, on the stove bring to the boil and then simmer for a few minutes until the consistency is thick and gooey.
  2. Peel apples, bananas and pears and cut up into chunks.
  3. Steam apples and pears until tender.
  4. Then put all ingredients in a blender or food processor and whizz until smooth.
  5. Either serve or freeze in pouches.

*if using quick oats the cooking time will be much less
